CUE International is seeking start-up
funding for a project, which encompasses
a three-phase initiative:

1) Renovate an existing structure in
a challenged Oakland neighborhood as
a center for youth to experience creative empowerment through training and
expression including an in-house theater, classroom areas, gallery areas, restroom
facilities and administrative offices.

2) Secure an administrative and teaching
staff that is expert in working with youth and teaching their respective skills and art forms.

3) Foster promotion of the center’s activities
from within the neighborhood by events open
to the general public including initial community opinion conferences on renovation, receptions
with children, parents and businesses, and
classes, performances and exhibits of the
center’s activities.
